Entries are now open for Round 1 of Drift South 2017/18 held at Teretonga Park, Invercargill.

This round will consist of:
Drift School - Friday 22 September AM    ($50 Entry fee)
Testing - Friday 22 September PM          ($60 Entry fee)
Competition - Saturday 23 September     

Please read the following brief info before entering, especially if you are new to Drift South.

 

All entries must be done on an official entry form. 
If you can not print off and post/email/fax your entry form, you can complete the online form and Teretonga will post you an entry form to complete and post back to them.

 

Drift School:
Morning of track time aimed at the first time or beginner drifter
Small sections of track with cones or 1-2 corners will be used to teach slower speed drifting.
Experienced drivers will assist with advice on how to improve your drifting.

 

Drift Testing:
Afternoon of open drift testing.
Entry limited at first to those who have entered either the Competition or School.
Groups based on driver skill.
Full track as per Saturday competition

 

Drift South Round 1:
Development Series and Pro Drift classes.
Please read regulations in the link below for more info and to ensure you meet the requirements.
Cars must meet Motorsport NZ Schedule A for both classes. Please ask if you are unsure if you car is ok, cars which fail scrutineering will not be allowed on track.
Development Series - No Roll cage required. Approved Helmet and 100% cotton overalls.
Pro Drift - Full cage with side intrusions required. Overalls must be double layer

Tyre restrictions: New to this season, max width rear tyres 265 for standard road tyres, max 245 for semi slicks (eg achilles 123, westlake etc)
